Ed Coffin Joins Rapidly Growing eSUB Construction Software

 

SAN DIEGO, CA – eSUB Construction Software announces electrical construction industry veteran, Ed Coffin, as their newest Senior Solutions Engineer. Mr. Coffin joins eSUB’s team as the company continues to innovate its products and services for construction subcontractors worldwide.

I look forward to working with customers to apply industry best practices to their contracting business and I am excited how the eSUB products augment those best practices with easy to use technology that links the field to the office,” said Mr. Coffin.

Mr. Coffin brings over 30 years of experience and expertise in helping electrical and low voltage construction clients improve their workflow efficiency from estimating through construction completion. He’s held many positions in engineering drafting/CAD, pre-planning and pre-fabrication drafting/CAD. Mr. Coffin is also an experienced electrician, foreman, estimator, project manager, and has worked as a software implementation and training expert, installing software systems in thousands of Subcontracting firms for decades.  Mr. Coffin is a veteran public speaker at NECA, IEC and BICSI organizations, as well as other trade shows. He has also been published in magazine articles, news stories, industry whitepapers, and blog articles.

In his new professional services role at eSUB, Mr. Coffin will provide onsite strategic and tactical implementation of all eSUB products in consortium with client workflow consulting. Such responsibilities include, but are not limited to, on-site workflow analysis and implementation of industry best practices; consulting customers on integrating the eSUB platform to their existing processes; and working closely with eSUB users to improve their estimating and project management skills. Mr. Coffin will also act as the liaison with customers and eSUB’s engineering team to design real-life workflows to optimize their usage of the eSUB platform.

Mr. Coffin was formerly a Sr. Technical Advisor & Training Director at ConEst Software Systems for the past 11 years and a Product Advisor at Accubid Software Systems.  Mr. Coffin has also provided individual consulting for 35 years in the electrical and low voltage industry.
