NAED Launches New Recruitment and Retention Analysis

ST. LOUIS, MO – On Nobember 21, 2016, the National Association of Electrical Distributors (NAED) launched the Recruitment & Retention Analysis program, a resource that is exclusively available to NAED members.

“Baby boomers are retiring at a rate of 10,000 per day, and as a result experts are predicting a shortage of 20 million skilled workers in the next 10 years,” said Allison Olden, NAED Talent Recruitment & Retention Specialist. “That is why recruitment and retention continues to be a priority for the majority of our members. This program covers everything from recruiting strategies used to hire quality talent, to their hiring process, and what they are doing to keep their employees.”

The first step is an introductory assessment with Olden to determine your needs. This is not a one-size fits all offering. It is understood that each member has its own challenges and opportunities. Therefore, it will be a customized approach.

“I want to assist electrical distributors with creative, proactive recruiting approaches, reducing the time to fill positions, and having the right tools in place to retain their top employees.” said Olden.
