PG&E Launches its 2017 Better Together STEM Scholarship Program

 

In recognition of Engineers Week (Feb. 19 – Feb. 25), PG&E is launching its 2017 Better Together STEM Scholarship program. Scholarship winners will receive $5,000 per year renewable for up to four years. PG&E is awarding 20 scholarships this year, but students need to get in their applications fast –The deadline is less than two months away: March 31.

Eligibility details:

  • High school seniors, current college students, veterans or adults returning to school
  • PG&E customers at the time of application
  • Pursuing a degree in one of the following STEM disciplines: Engineering (electrical, mechanical, computer, industrial or environmental); Computer Science/Information Systems; Cyber Security; Environmental Sciences.

Applicants must plan to enroll in full-time undergraduate study for the entire 2017-2018 academic year and be pursuing their first degree at a school in California.
