FARGO, ND — Border States Electric (BSE) held a “wire cutting” ceremony June 24 to celebrate the opening of their new Branch Support Center — a 120,000-square-foot corporate headquarters in Fargo, North Dakota. The facility spans three floors and has capacity for 540 employee-owners plus room for expansion. Employee-owners have access to many collaboration spaces and more than 40 conference rooms with outstanding technology to support our branches and customers across the country

BSE planned this new facility with four guiding principles: Brand, Talent, Collaboration and Value. Brand – reflect their industry and communicate their culture. Talent – help recruit and retain the best talent. Collaborate – enhance collaboration, effectiveness and efficiency, Value – as a 100 percent employee-owned company, they needed to be good stewards of their financial resources and deliver a good investment to the employee-owners.

“Our guiding principles were met and exceeded,” Tammy Miller, CEO and Board Chair, said. “I want to thank all Border States employee-owners from North Dakota to Texas — from the Carolinas to Washington state. Thank you for the amazing work you do every day to serve our customers, communities and each other.”

BSE supplies products and services to construction, industrial and utility customers. The Branch Support Center is in Fargo, N.D.
