Eklipse Luminaire from Griven USA Nominated For Inclusion in 2017 Illuminating Engineering Society Progress Report

Griven USA is pleased to announce that Eklipse has been nominated for inclusion in the Illuminating Engineering Society (IES) 2017 Annual Progress Report.  The IES Progress Committee selected the architectural LED effects-luminaire based on criteria of originality, innovation, and importance to the advancement of the state of the art and science in the lighting industry.

EKLIPSE is a compact LED light-shaper specifically designed to add visual highlights to repeating architectural elements such as windowsills or balconies on commercial, institutional, municipal buildings of all types and styles.

The luminaire’s cast-aluminum housing integrates unobtrusively into building architecture.  Four high power LEDs in white or RGBW work in conjunction with specialized optics to produce an ultra-narrow 180° elliptical beam to illuminate the inner frames of fenestration with little spill.

Eklipse models for white light are available in warm 3000K or cool 6500K color temperatures with CRI greater than 80.  High CRI light engines with 90 CRI are available on request.  The RGBW model with DMX control capability is suitable for dynamic color changing applications.  The luminaire is continuously dimmable from 0% to 100% light output.

EKLIPSE’s housing measures less than 6” W x 4” D x 2” H.  Its LED driver is remotely located. Power consumption is 10 watts.
