ELCO FireProof™ recessed housings are built with non combustible insulation material that in the event of a fire the recessed fixture can withstand fire for a minimum of two hours, thus eliminating flames from transfer between floors. These housings also enhance acoustical protection, dampering sound transfer between floors. The easy to install and maintenance free fire rated housings are offered in Standard (3”, 4”, 5”, and 6”) and Shallow (4” and 6”) heights and they all feature our quick connect terminal for easy installation.
All ELCO FireProof™ Recessed New Construction housings are airtight and IC rated for use in insulated ceilings. They meet restricted Air Flow Requirements (per ASTM E-283) and CA Title 24 high efficacy requirements. UL listed for damp and wet locations. These 120V energy saving housings are also available for 120/277V and 0-10V dimming with our Ply™ System.
