Focal Point continues to improve its family of downlights with a new ID+ 4.5″ Downlight and Wall Wash. The popular 4.5″ aperture luminaires now deliver greater design flexibility to meet the needs of diverse spaces.

The new ID+ 4.5″ Downlight is designed with the latest LED technology for increased performance and efficacy. A new 75° cutoff cone, along with the existing 50° cutoff cone, delivers visual comfort and brightness control. Furthermore, expanded lumen output options, from 1000 to 3000 lumens, and additional beam spread options, from spot to super wide flood, ease the specification process.

The new luminaire makes installation a breeze with a universal housing that allows for the interchangeability of trims in the field and accommodates ceiling thicknesses from 0.5″ to 3.0″. The ID+ 4.5” Downlight may be used in mud-in drywall, grid, and wood ceiling applications. Round and square trims, with overlap and trimless reflectors, are available in multiple finishes to provide an extra level of personalization.

The value of the ID+ 4.5″ Downlight reaches beyond meeting the varying needs of specifiers and installers. It also meets the stringent energy-efficiency standards of Energy Star and contributes to creating a more sustainable environment. Both the ID+ 4.5″ Downlight and Wall Wash are now wet location rated for indoor and outdoor locations.
