Focal Point Expands Seem Family with Enhanced Perimeter Luminaires

Focal Point® enhances its Seem® family with additional features to its Seem 2 Perimeter and Seem 4 Perimeter luminaires. The sleek linear LED luminaires, available in 2.5″ and 4″ apertures respectively, are designed to provide a glowing transition and uninterrupted illumination between ceilings and walls.

“At Focal Point, we continue to listen to our customer and evolve our Seem portfolio to enable specifiers greater design flexibility while meeting the needs of unique environments,” stated Mike Thornton, Chief Marketing Officer for Focal Point LLC.

Both luminaires are now available with a fixed or adjustable housing option and suitable for grid, drywall, and hard surface applications. They can be ordered in individual units, continuous runs, and patterns in 1-inch increments. A frosted acrylic lens delivers a sleek aesthetic and brightness control while expanded lens options – Flush, 2.5-inch and 4.0-inch Regress lens, increased lumen output range – up to 1000 lumens per foot, and various color temperature provide customization options to meet the needs of diverse spaces such as offices, lobbies, corridors, and educational environments.

Seem 2 and 4 Perimeter are also part of Focal Point’s Connected SolutionsTM program, a multi-partner program that enable luminaires to integrate with whole building management systems through wired and wireless networks, allowing for individual control, occupancy sensing, and daylight harvesting to maximize comfort and energy efficiency.

As with all Seem family luminaires, Seem 2 and 4 Perimeter are part of the Right Light program, with delivered lumen outputs that stay consistent as technology upgrades occur. They also allow for custom programming of wattages and lumen outputs within the standard range to meet lighting power density (LPD) requirements.

Seem 2 and 4 Perimeter also join a host of companion Seem luminaires that effectively render color for human preference, using Focal Point’s Preferred LightTM color technology to create more comfortable and visually appealing environments.
