KNIPEX Introduces Updated Line of Electronics Pliers

KNIPEX Tools updated its expansive line of more than 80 different box joint electronics diagonal cutters, end cutting nippers and gripping pliers.

KNIPEX has begun re-engineering their box joint electronics diagonal cutters, end cutting nippers and gripping pliers through an innovative manufacturing process. The large, double-guided box joint design allows for longer life with zero backlash. Designed for greater user comfort, the new Electronics Pliers require less hand force and physical effort from the user and feature handle grips that are extended to the joint for better dexterity and control of the pliers.

Other key design features include rounded edges on the head of the pliers for improved accessibility and no inadvertent damage to surrounding components, as well as optimized stress distribution on the head of the pliers for increased service life. KNIPEX’s Electronics Pliers are now made from ball-bearing steel for improved durability.

KNIPEX’s full line of gripping and cutting Electronics Pliers are available in a number of different jaw types, joint, head and handle styles, as well as various bevel types in the cutting line. Additional features are available for many of the Electronics Pliers, including a lead catcher, double springs, electrostatic discharge handles and carbide cutting edges for safer, easier and cleaner work.

“Every detail that went in to making our Electronics Pliers is designed to meet the rigorous standards of professionals working on small components who need tools they can trust,” said Peter Grable, product manager, KNIPEX Tools. “From the proprietary manufacturing process, to the steel and new handles, our updated Electronics Pliers are made with the user in mind with emphasis on comfort, reliability and performance.”
