The Altor series from LumenFocus is an innovative lighting solution designed for the high demands of food and meat industry facilities.
There are two luminaires in the Altor series – the WVLF and the NVLF. The WVLF is a wide profile LED vaportight high bay. The NVLF is a narrow profile vaportight high/low bay.
Both luminaires have been engineered to be bacteria and debris resistant, with minimal external features that limit particulate accumulation. The flat polycarbonate lens, available in clear or frosted polycarbonate, provides a true water seal that will allow no condensation into the fixture.
The design of the Altor luminaires allows them to be easy to clean, as the IP66-rated, dust-tight enclosures can also withstand high pressure water jets. The housing is constructed of UL 5VA fiberglass – it will not melt or burn. High efficiency LED boards are mounted to pre-painted aluminum trays inside the luminaire. Useful for warehouses, manufacturing facilities, food processing facilities as well as freezers, the durable materials and craftsmanship of these luminaires allows them to withstand some of the harshest environments.
Every Altor luminaire is made in the USA – at LumenFocus’ Henderson, NC facility.
The NVLF is available in 4-foot and 8-foot lengths. The WVLF comes in 2-foot or 4-foot lengths. The Altor series is driven by high efficiency LED light engines. The NVLF is capable of efficacies up to 135.2 lumens per watt. Its wide counterpart can reach 138.2 LPW.
A wide range of lumen output packages allows customers to get the exact light level needed. The NVLF’s output ranges from 2,200 lumens in the 4-footer up to 17,000+ in the 8-footer. The WVLF ranges from 8,200 lumens in the 2-footer to 23,500+ in the 4-footer.
Sensors and photocells can be ordered to maximize energy savings. All sensors are IP rated.
Both the NVLF and WVLF boasts predicted L70 lifetimes of greater than 72,000 reported hours. Both will provide high quality, efficient light for many years to come.
The NVLF is available in 3500K, 4000K and 5000K. The WVLF is available in 3500K and 4000K.
The WVLF can be mounted in several ways. V-hooks are the baseline option, which can be used for chain or cable mounting. A Flexible Ceiling Mount option is available for surface mounting. The Rigid Mounting Beam, available for the 2-footer, allows for easier surface-mount installation and added security. 10- and 20-foot Quick Hang Cable Kits are an option, as is a hub for pendant mounting (pendant not included).
For the NVLF, a Surface Mounting Bracket comes standard. An optional Mounting Bracket Bail can be selected for chain or cable mounting. The Bracket Bail can also be ordered with a 10- or 20-foot Quick Hang Cable Kit.
Certifications for the Altor fixtures include: UL 1598 listed for US and Canada (suitable for wet locations), IP66, NEMA 4X, NSF, PSI 1500, RoHS. Specific configurations are DesignLights Consortium qualified – refer to http://designlights.org for exact models that qualify.
