NECA Show Launches First Lighting and Controls Theater

BETHESDA, MD – The 2018 National Electrical Contractors Association (NECA) Convention & Trade Show debuts a Lighting and Controls Theater to serve the 91 percent of electrical contractors now working on lighting—especially LED Lighting and ballasts/LED drivers, according to Electrical Contractor’s magazine’s 2018 Profile of the Electrical Contractor.

The new Lighting and Controls Theater in Booth 214 was created from the NECA Show attendees’ demand for more lighting education, in line with LED technology becoming the standard option for new and replacement lighting installations. Additionally, attendees also ranked lighting/controls/LED lighting among the top five NECA Show product areas over the past two years.

“As electrical contractors’ lighting and LED work continue to build, it’s imperative to create a dedicated space at the NECA Show to offer the latest education and practices,” said Sue McCart, Marketing NECA Convention and Exposition.

Featuring 18-minute presentations, the theater schedule running Sept. 30 through Oct. 2 includes:
