Orbit Industries celebrated its 22nd year serving the electrical construction industry at Orbit’s year-end Annual Holiday Party. Hosted at the Circus Circus Hotel and Casino in Las Vegas, Nevada, over 250 of Orbit’s team members, family and friends attended this very special night.
The festive company banquet was held in one of the hotel’s reception halls. Decorated to fit the season, the banquet was filled with food, drinks, music and even a slideshow commemorating members of the extended Orbit family.
The celebration also marked the end of a year-long transition of Orbit’s West coast distribution center (DC) operations to a new facility in Bell Gardens, California. The party also marked the maturation of Orbits East coast DC operation, which opened in 2015, and now employs as many warehouse staff as its West coast sister facility.
“Moving to a new distribution center has been a great challenge for our growing company,” said David Nikayin, Orbit President and CEO, in his welcoming speech. “We thank our entire team for their dedication, hard work, and for putting in long hours.” Mr. Nikayin continued, saying “I also wish to thank our second generation of Orbit employees who are here tonight. Welcome to the Orbit family.”
Prizes were then raffled off and included gift cards, Dodger tickets, an Amazon Echo and even an Apple iPad. Following the raffle, the party continued into the night with music, dancing and karaoke.
The entire team at Orbit had a great time in Las Vegas, using the event as a way to relax before preparing to take on the New Year. Orbit’s East coast DC team also held their own holiday party a week prior.
