Robroy Industries releases PVC Coated SpeedCouple

Simplifies and improves installations by eliminating the need to turn PVC coated conduit or elbows

Robroy Industries Raceway Division announced another industry first – the PVC coated SpeedCouple. The PVC coated SpeedCouple improves job site efficiency and productivity by allowing the installation of PVC coated conduit and elbows without having to turn the conduit.

The PVC coated SpeedCouple is ideal for applications with limited space or installations where turning conduit or elbows is difficult. Approved as concrete tight and suitable for direct burial, the PVC coated SpeedCouple is the preferred choice for duct bank applications where groups of conduit are designed and installed to protect and consolidate cabling to and from buildings or equipment.

The PVC coated SpeedCouple offers a new alternative for connecting coated conduit and elbows in ordinary (non-hazardous) locations. Before the PVC coated SpeedCouple, to avoid having to turn the conduit or in areas where turning the conduit was not possible, it was common practice to utilize a hazardous location union for connections, even in areas that were not classified as hazardous. With the PVC coated SpeedCouple, not only can you get a faster, easier installation, but you can incur significant material savings by using the coated SpeedCouple designed to eliminate the need to turn the conduit.

The PVC coated SpeedCouple is available in trade sizes 2” through 6”, listed to UL514B and is shipped from factory stock.
