Rosendin’s Arizona Office Hosts Interactive Bring Your Kids to Work Day

TEMPE, AZ- To help celebrate National Take Our Daughters and Sons to Work Day, employees at Rosendin’s regional office in Tempe, Arizona created an interactive day of fun and learning. The employee owned electrical contracting company hosted 18-daughters and sons with fun activities that tied into the construction industry.

Employees’ children got to use a Virtual Reality program to “walk” through a house, handcrafted an LED flashlight using a schematic and wire, and printed their name on key chains using the company’s laser printing machine.

For the 18-elementary school kids, all that hard work built up an appetite so Rosendin treated families with free food from the Waffle Crush food truck. Every child went home with their arms filled with souvenirs including Rosendin shirts, backpack, cups, fidget spinners and stickers.

The kids thought Rosendin’s event was a huge success and parents agreed, saying it was a great chance to highlight their workplace and expose the kids to future career paths available in the electrical contracting industry.
