Stauffer Named Utility Sales Director at Border States

 

FARGO, N.D — Jeff Stauffer has been named Utility Sales Director for the eastern Landis & Gyr territory at Border States Electric (BSE). The territory covers Michigan, Illinois, Ohio, West Virginia, Pennsylvania and Indiana.

Stauffer began his career in 1993 as a staff engineer with Power Line Supply Company, where he most recently served as president and was responsible for overseeing operations, including account management, customer service, supply chain and warehousing.

He has served as the secretary/treasurer for the North American Association of Utility Distributors (NAAUD) since 2015, and as chair of the Great Lakes Electric Meter School.

Stauffer received his bachelor’s degrees in electrical engineering and business administration from Michigan Technological University where he also served as business manager for the school’s newspaper — The Michigan Tech Lode.

Stauffer and his wife Deb are devoted to raising money for local and national charities including WISE, Angels of Action, the American Foundation for Suicide Prevention, the National Multiple Sclerosis and the Mecosta County Community Foundation where he and Deb established an endowed scholarship in name of their late son Noah.

The Stauffer’s son Sam is attending Northern Michigan University, Marquette.
