Summit Electric Supply Hires Michael Aufdembrink as Chief Information Officer

ALBUQUERQUE, NM – Patrick Davis, President and CEO of Summit Electric Supply, announced today that Michael Aufdembrink has been named Summit’s new Chief Information Officer (CIO) effective June 1.

“Mike brings a wealth of IT experience to the organization, including digital strategy creation, enterprise application development, and business development,” remarked Davis. “We are excited to have Mike join the Summit team.”

Aufdembrink has over 25 years of experience developing IT/digital strategy, large application implementation, infrastructure, program management, cyber/risk management, plus proficiency with mergers & acquisitions. He previously served in CIO roles at Baker Hughes, Energizer Holdings, HCA Corporation, Sara Lee Corporation, and Parallon Revenue Cycle Solutions.

Aufdembrink’s responsibilities at Summit will include digital strategy, information technology operations, and cybersecurity.

Mike holds a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering from Missouri University of Science and Technology, and both a Masters of Science in Information Systems and a Masters of Business Administration from the University of Missouri – St. Louis. Mike will work out of Summit’s Houston office.
