WAC Lighting Launches Oculux Architectural LED Luminaires

WAC Lighting has launched Architectural LED luminaires in its award-winning Oculux Downlight series. Oculux Architectural offers performance features in a simple but versatile package for applications in fine homes, hospitality and commercial spaces.

New Oculux luminaires feature a simple, cost effective design. A four-in-one housing can be used for all trim options including Downlight, 0°-30° Adjustable, Pinhole and Wall Wash. All are available in trimless versions with a die-cast Spackle frame for a clean, architectural look and smooth ceiling surface. A wide range of optics is available to determine various light distributions from spot to flood and narrow flood beams, depending on your lighting application.

IC rated, airtight and wet location listed for both interior and exterior environments. Oculux can be used in a multitude of applications. Oculux luminaires dim down beautifully with TRIAC, electronic low voltage and 0-10V dimmers on universal 120-277 volt systems.

The Oculux Dim-to-Warm function allows you to have the best of both worlds—combining the high performance of LED and the intimate warmth of incandescence. It warms as you dim to imitate incandescent light. 1800K incandescent light sets the mood for a dimmed ambience and warm glow to help you unwind for a relaxing evening movie or dinner while pure white 3000K light at a 95+ CRI enables you to see everything crystal clear, perfect to complete all necessary visual tasks.

These high performance 3.5” and 2” aperture downlights deliver up to 1,000 lumens for robust illumination in spaces that need ample light. Die cast aluminum trims are available in powder-coated White or glare-reducing Stealth Haze, and accommodate ceiling thicknesses of ½-inch to 1 inch. The fixtures are available in four color temperatures: 2700K, 3000K, 3500K, or 4000K, with 50,000-plus hours of rated life.
