Engineered Lighting Products’ fills their “Hole In The Wall” line of fixtures with LED options. Once installed, these popular GRG (Glass fiber Reinforced Gypsum) luminaires actually appear to be part of your wall, ceiling or skylight wall and look like a custom formed drywall “light niche” that blend with any interior motif. There is no visible metal or trim in the normal viewing angle and the design provides a soft asymmetric wash of light. The LED lamp options are now available in all casting sizes.
The newest additions cover all of the larger castings and utilize Osrams’s 11 watt, PrevaLED® distributed array LED modules that are rated greater than 60,000 hours. These larger units are supplied standard with Osram 0-10 volt dimming and optional Lutron dimming.
Frosted acrylic lens is standard with the LED units. These high color rendering LED lamps in are a wonderful, energy saving alternative to halogen and fluorescent sources.
The durable, GRG casting mounts directly to stud construction and allows 5/8” gypsum board construction butting the fixture. Interior aluminum and cold rolled steel components in the metal “fixture insert” are TGIC polyester powder coated. The integral electrical components are accessible through the aperture of the fixture. In addition to these LED options, numerous compact fluorescent, incandescent and halogen sources are also available. LED fixtures are c/CSA/us Listed and I.C. Rated
