Tom Salpietra to Retire
MENTOR, OH – EYE Lighting International Board of Directors announced that Greg Barry has been appointed President and Chief Operating Officer following the retirement of Tom Salpietra. The appointment is effective immediately.
Mr. Barry joined EYE Lighting two years ago as Vice President of Sales & Marketing. He has a wealth of executive leadership experience that he brings to his new position, formerly serving as President and CEO for Topanga Technologies, a lighting technology company on the West Coast. In addition, he has held the position of Vice President and General Manager for sales, marketing and product management at several other companies including Acuity Brands, Hubbell Lighting, and 14 years at GE Lighting.
“This is an exciting time in the lighting industry with the development and potential of LED technology across numerous applications,” Barry added. “I am looking working with the EYE team to continue to position EYE Lighting as a leader in the field and provider of high quality lighting products and controls.”

Mr. Barry earned his Masters of Business Administration from Central Michigan University and Bachelor of Arts in Marketing from the University of South Florida. He also has advanced skills training in strategic planning, financial management, lean manufacturing, Six Sigma, and ISO 9001.
