Recently, LumenFocus added two new luminaires to the FormFocus line – the FFL2R and the FFL2R HO.
Ideal for offices, retail settings, classrooms and healthcare facilities, the FFL2R can produce up to over 150 lumens per watt. Available in 2×2 and 2×4 options, it comes in a wide array of lumen outputs, ranging from around 2,200 lumens up to almost 9,600 lumens.
While identical in appearance to the FFL2R, the FFL2R HO (“High Output”) is a recessed high bay designed for high elevation grid ceilings, or other applications that require high lumen output from a recessed luminaire. Output for the HO ranges from 6,000 lumens in the 2×2 LW (Low) package up to over 18,000 lumens in the 2×4 VH (Very High) model. Even at high output, the HO still boasts efficacies up to 133 lumens per watt.
Both the FFL2R and its high output counterpart feature two rows of highly efficient LED boards shielded by frosted acrylic diffusers, which are optimized to balance efficiency and aesthetics. The sleek design features a low profile and lightweight housing that is easy to handle in the field.
The FFL2R and the HO have predicted L70 lifetimes of more than 95,000 hours (calculated). Both luminaires feature 0-10V dimming drivers standard. Both are available in 80 CRI – in 3000K, 3500K, 4000K and 5000K. Each unit is available in universal voltage or 347V. Cords, whips, emergency packs and step dimming sensors are all optional.
You can further maximize your energy savings with the optional Philips EasySense sensor. With the EasySense, you get the benefit of occupancy sensing, daylight harvesting and task tuning in one device. The sensor is installed on the luminaire, eliminating the need for wiring outside the fixtures in the ceiling. The sensors are easily configured from the floor via a smartphone with the EasySense app.
The FFL2R and the FFL2R HO – along with the rest of the FormFocus product line – are powered by Universal Lighting Technologies’ Everline brand of LED boards and drivers. ULT’s light engines are among the best and most efficient available – ensuring that LumenFocus provides the highest efficacy luminaires possible. A member of the Panasonic Group (a subsidiary of Panasonic), ULT has been a lighting innovator for over 70 years.
