Introducing Flatz, an ultra-thin surface mount and recessed luminaire with an architectural look and low glare optics.
Designed to mimic the look of recessed lighting, the Flatz series by SLV is easy to install with a mounting plate that attaches directly to the junction box. A quick snap connector attaches the fixture to the mounting plate. Designed to install over most 3-1/2” and 4” square and octagon junction boxes.
To provide exceptional low glare and even illumination, SLV uses a special five layer proprietary lens system. The layering system is composed of an edge-lit polycarbonate dimpled plate surrounded by an ultra-high efficiency reflector and a patterned glare control diffuser. The innovative combination has created an exceptional low glare product which provides excellent efficiencies and very pleasant illumination from an angle of the eye. Flatz is leading the industry efficiencies up to 90 lumens per watt with a 90 CRI standard on each product.
Flatz are wet location listed fixtures, making them an ideal choice for bathrooms and outdoor covered locations. When installed in accordance with NFPA® 70, NEC® Section 410.6 the Flatz will also provide excellent illumination to closets and pantries.
Flatz are available in a 4” and 6” square or 4” and 7” round format. Rated for 50,000 hours, it comes in three color temperatures (27000K, 3000K and 3500K) and lumen levels ranging from 703-1562, all with a greater than 90 CRI. Dimming down to 5% is a cinch with both TRIAC and ELV dimmers. Unique to the market is the Flatz Recessed luminaires at 120-277V, they include 0-10V dimming down to 1% with select dimmers.
