LAKE MILLS, WI – Kapro Tools received two Pro Tool Innovation Awards. The winning tools are the 946M-Smarty Magnetic Optivision Cast level on the Hand Tools – Levels category and the 873G PROLASER® Green vector Laser level on the Line Laser Levels category.
A panel of judges made up of tool and media professionals from across the United States and Canada weighed in on entries from top global manufacturers.
Hundreds of power tools, hand tools, fasteners and accessories were judged, and winners were decided based on industry innovation. The Pro Tool Innovation Awards recognize best-in-class products that are truly ahead of their time.
Here’s what the judges had to say about the 946M-Smarty Magnetic Optivision Cast level: “If you haven’t seen a level with Kapro’s Optivision vial design, you need to check one visible vial thanks to the red housing that gives the bubble an edge that’s easy to see in any light condition.”
Here’s what the judges had to say about the 873G PROLASER® Green vector Laser level: “Kapro includes a couple of important features on their ProLaser Vector Three Line Laser. First, they go with a green beam—a wavelength that is easier for the human eye to see than red. That means you’ll pick it up over a greater distance. They also give you outstanding accuracy with 0.0002″/1″, which is less than 1/4″ at 100′. Finally, the adjustable folding legs add to the innovative feature set.”
This year, over 60 different tool manufacturers submitted nearly 300 tool entries in dozens of categories for a shot to win a 2018 Pro Tool Innovation Award.
