Luminis’ Oculus Wins Product Innovation Award from Architectural Products Magazine

MONTREAL, QC – Luminis is pleased to announce that its Oculus luminaire has been awarded a Product Innovation Award (PIA) from Architectural Products magazine.

Honoring innovation in the development and refinement of buildings-related products, the PIA awards are judged by a group of independent industry professionals.

Oculus is a recessed downlight designed for outdoor, under canopy applications where resistance to weather, light output and directional aiming are important. The two products in the Oculus family are suitable for harsh outdoor weather conditions and are IP66 rated. They have a fully adjustable light module providing 360° rotation and 30° tilt angle for precise aiming of light. The judging panel identified the product as one that specifiers have been waiting for, specifically praising the optics and tilt adjustment.

“Many specifiers in the field have been asking for a product like this – glad to have this available,” commented the PIA judges.

Oculus has previously been recognized with a PIA in Architectural SSL magazine’s annual awards.
