SEYMOUR, CT — Circuit Breaker Sales Northeast Inc. has opened a new facility in Johnstown, PA, to address market demand for power distribution equipment and related services.
“In 2018 we did a significant amount of business in Western Pennsylvania, primarily for government institutions and utility companies,” says John Namnoum, president of CBS Northeast. “Being six hours from our headquarters in Seymour, CT, pushed our ability to provide economical and timely service and support to our clients.”
The company’s full range of services will be available through the Western Pennsylvania facility, which is about 70 miles east of Pittsburgh. These services include remanufacturing, reconditioning, and repair of all types of electrical equipment; life extension, retrofit, and retrofill services; and emergency field services.
“Additionally, the ability to distribute products directly from sister companies such as CBS ArcSafe and Vacuum Interrupters, Inc., in this market provides strong brand recognition and opens the door for our salespeople to discuss the multitude of services offered by CBS Northeast,” Namnoum says.
Dan Wilson will serve as operations manager for the Johnstown shop. Dan brings 10 years of shop and field service experience to the position, starting as a mechanic and most recently serving as supervisor of the CBSNE breaker shop, overseeing the company’s largest department.
“Dan has handled every challenge we’ve given him, and we know he will excel in this position,” Namnoum says.
