CULLODEN, WV – Service Wire Co. received a Best of the Best Marketing Award from tED Magazine at the NAED Adventure Conference in Nashville, TN. The award recognizes Service Wire’s excellence in its community outreach efforts for Operation Gratitude, a non-profit that sends care packages to U.S. Service Members stationed overseas.
Service Wire partnered with Operation Gratitude to prepare 500 care kits, write letters to soldiers and send coloring sheets prepared by employees’ children. The goal of the campaign was to engage employees in Service Wire’s philanthropic culture and core value of “service”—service to the families, communities, and country that have been critical to the company’s longevity and success.
“As part of celebrating our 50th anniversary year, we wanted to do something above and beyond previous years,” explained Jessi West, PHR in Service Wire’s Human Resources. “We wanted our employees to be involved and feel a personal sense of pride.”
“We are honored to be recognized among this year’s winners,” said Mary Brown, Marketing Manager. “It’s incredibly rewarding to be part of the NAED’s marketing community and the evolution of marketing in the electrical industry.”
Service Wire Co. is a second-generation, family-owned wire and cable manufacturer and has been since 1968.
