Utility Restoration Campaign Sheds Light on Storm Preparedness
CULLODEN, WV – Unexpected storm-related damage can result in critical outages, causing utility companies and distributors to scramble to find quick solutions. As an experienced emergency supplier, Service Wire Co. wanted to help prepare the electrical distribution community by sharing the importance of storm preparedness—and they have been recognized for their efforts.
Service Wire Co. has been named a 2020 “Best of the Best” winner for marketing excellence by tED Magazine. The company won in the corporate public relations category.

Beyond the recognition, this campaign was a chance for Service Wire to remind their partners about the importance of storm preparation and restoration, Brown explained.
“When Hurricane Dorian hit the Southeast last year, we were prepared to deliver the products our customers needed in the wake of the storm. We shared messages encouraging our community to take precautions and regular updates about our 24-hour emergency service program.”
Joe DeBellis, National Sales Manager – Utility, added that this response is a result of the company’s on-going recovery efforts and post-storm evaluation. “We keep copious logs and are constantly reviewing our process to make sure we are adapting to our customers’ changing needs,” DeBellis shared. “We employ several strategies. Everything from having on-hand stock in all three of our locations to reduce delivery time to ensuring reliable freight partners.”
