TROY, MI – eLumigen announced that its LED Filament HID Replacement Lamps were
recognized with inclusion in the 2023 IES Progress Report.
The IES Progress Committee publishes an annual report to keep in touch with
developments in the art and science of lighting throughout the world, as well as achievements for
the Society. Acceptance is based on an impartial judging process used by the committee to
evaluate each submission on its uniqueness, innovation, and significance to the lighting industry.
eLumigen LED Filament HID Replacement Lamps are 50W and 34W, UL Type B, high
flux density replacements for HID lamps. These lamps substantially reduce energy cost while
providing a significantly longer life, operating on either 120-277 VAC or 120-250 VDC. The
lamps emit 10,000 lumens (50W) or 6,500 lumens (34W) without requiring a separate ballast,
driver, or fan.
The 34W model is rated for enclosed fixtures (both wall packs and Class 1 Div 2 fixtures)
and the 50W model is rated for open fixtures. Each lamp has a 25,000 hour life, and operating
temperature between -40°F to 113°F. Ideal for outdoor and indoor applications, they replace
High Pressure Sodium, Metal Halide, Mercury Vapor, or older, lumen-depreciated LED corncob
lamps. The lamps are non-dimmable, 5000K CCT, 70+ CRI for the 50W and 80+ CRI for the
34W, E39 mogul base, with ballast bypass operation. They operate in base down, base up, or
horizontal positions.
They’re ideal for E39-based lamp replacements in municipalities, parking facilities,
manufacturing and mining operations, wall packs and commercial warehouses. Additional
