COLLEGEVILLE, PA – Allied Wire & Cable is now an AS9100 certified wire and cable distributor and manufacturer. Due to increased demand, Allied acquired the AS9100 certification to better serve Tier 1, Tier 2, and Tier 3 customers in the aerospace and defense industries. AWC was already ISO9001 certified but decided to upgrade to AS9100 to provide a higher-caliber quality management system.
The sales team has been provided with additional tools and techniques to communicate and document customer requirements, which ensures quality and on time delivery. Neil Saunderson, QMS Manager, says, “Allied is proud of the work we have done to earn this certification.
