Andy Salz, VP of Sales and Business Development at Walters Wholesale Electric Company, has announced his retirement at the end of 2021.
Andy has spent his entire career in the industry, working for AMFAC, CED, Wesco and GE Supply Company before joining Walters in 2003. While at Walters, Andy occupied a seat on the Senior Staff, managing many aspects of the business including branch operations, mergers and acquisitions, and customer and vendor relations.
Bill Durkee, Chairman of the Board of Walters, noted, “Any person in the industry could call Andy with an opportunity or a problem and know that they would be treated in a friendly and professional manner. He is a fabulous coach and mentor and earned the respect of everyone he touched. He always negotiated with a smile and a whimsical story that put people at ease. His reputation for honesty and integrity are unquestioned. All of us will greatly miss Andy.”
