FARGO, ND —AnnaLisa Nash has joined Border States Electric (BSE) as General Counsel. Nash’s primary responsibilities are to lead BSE’s Legal Department and team of attorneys, and act as a strategic business partner to the Company. She will provide legal advice and oversight in different aspects of the business, including legal filings, contracts, acquisitions, ethics matters, and privacy.
“I am thrilled to be joining Border States as General Counsel,” said Nash. “I look forward to partnering with my fellow employee-owners to continue serving our customers well and building upon the Company’s overall success.”
Prior to joining BSE, Nash practiced litigation and corporate law at a large District of Columbia law firm, and also served as a Trial Attorney at the U.S. Department of Transportation. From NDSU, Nash moved to Bobcat Company/Doosan in West Fargo, where she managed the companies’ import and export operations (and other trade and cross-border activities) and ensured compliance with all applicable U.S. and international trade laws and regulations.
