DMF Lighting announced the new iX Series Enhancements received a sweep of awards
during CEDIA Expo 2023. DMF was thrilled to debut many of the new and exciting DMF
innovations that will be exclusive to the CI channel. Enhancements that include:
True Spectrum™ 98 CRI (Color Rendering Index) light modules providing industry-
leading color rendering. These modules feature new LED chips that effectively display colors in
their true vibrancy and richness as they appear under natural light.
New premium trim aesthetics that include Raw Brass and Anodized Aluminum finishes
and are available in both Flangeless and Micro Flange options. These trims offer premium
materials, finishes, and performance. The trims are machined from solid blocks of brass 360
billet or aerospace grade 6061 – T6 aluminum, and in addition to providing a beautiful aesthetic,
they also dramatically reduce glare.
iX Retrofit Conversion Kits that allow the conversion of a preexisting 6″, 5″, or 4″ fixture
to a standard iX Series downlight module with either a beveled Flange, Micro Flange, or
Flangeless trim option.
CEDIA, the global association for the home technology industry, honored the iX Series
Enhancements with a 2023 Best New Product Hardware Award. The program recognizes
exceptional new hardware and software products from CEDIA member manufacturing
companies and trade suppliers.
The iX Series Enhancements also took home a Residential Systems Best of Show 2023
award. The program recognizes outstanding products exhibited at the CEDIA Expo that are new
since the prior show. Winners are selected by panels of professional users and editors based on
descriptions provided by manufacturers as well as on judges’ inspection at the convention.
The Residential Tech Today 2023 Innovation Awards shine a light on products and
services that are making strides to be groundbreakers. These winners, including the DMF
Lighting iX Series Enhancements, offer innovative solutions for everyday tech challenges,
improving the comfort and lifestyle of homeowners and the efficiency and profitability of
residential technology integrators.
DMF iX Series Enhancements also took home a 2023 Technology Designer Performance
Home Award for Residential Product Development. The TD Performance Awards represents
significant achievements in indoor/outdoor products and creative artistic design. A panel of
architects, builders, designers, and industry influencers judged the competition.
