PITTSBURGH, PA – Eaton recently announced that Brian Brickhouse has been named president, Electrical Systems and Services Group, effective July 1. Brickhouse will succeed Bill VanLandingham, who is retiring after 33 years of exceptional service.
Brickhouse will lead Eaton’s teams that provide industry-leading global solutions, deep application expertise and services for industrial, utility, data center, construction and machine building customers. With more than three decades of leadership roles in the electrical industry, he will head Eaton’s Electrical Systems and Services Group, which includes low- and medium-voltage power distribution, harsh and hazardous area and utility and grid solutions, uninterruptible power supply (UPS) solutions and the engineering services organization. Currently, Brickhouse is president of the Asia Pacific Region – Electrical Sector at Eaton. He was named to his current role in 2015.

Bill VanLandingham, president of the Electrical Systems and Services Group, elected to retire from Eaton on July 1, 2018, and will work with Brian in the transition. Bill joined Eaton in 1994 as part of the Westinghouse acquisition and has held leadership positions in operations, marketing and sales in a number of businesses in the Electrical Sector, leading to his current role in 2017.
Eaton named Howard Liu to succeed Brickhouse as president, Asia Pacific Region – Electrical Sector, effective July 1, 2018. Currently, Howard is president of the Asia Pacific region (excluding India) for the Hydraulics Group, Vehicle Group and Corporate China. Howard joined Eaton in 2006 and held leadership roles in the APAC region in both the Hydraulics and Vehicle groups. Prior to joining Eaton, he held operations and business management roles with United Technology, Danaher and Ford. Howard will report to Revathi Advaithi.
