The USB Dual Type-C Receptacle eliminates clutter by offering adapter-free USB-C charging for compatible electronic devices, including tablets, digital cameras, gaming devices and mobile phones. Capable of recognizing the unique requirements of attached electronic devices, the Type-C ports deliver optimized charge and can simultaneously charge up to two devices rated at 5 amps (A) total charging capacity.
Additional features include reversible ports for consistent charging regardless of plug-in orientation, ground termination with a back wire clamp for security, easy installation with Eaton’s patented built-in wire strippers and tamper-resistant shutters that comply with 2014 NEC® Article 406.12.
