ELCO Lighting unveils its new “FireProof” one and two hour ICA fire rated assortment of products that are now available from its factory in Vernon, California.
Elco’s fire rated products are of quality construction, using only quality non-combustible materials, helping ensure safe lighting applications for commercial building applications. In the event of fire the ELCO FireProof fixture can withstand a minimum of TWO hours of direct heat, flame and fumes which are commonly emitted by fire and the ignition of nearby combustible materials.
Elco Lighting’s new Fire Division products also offer sound diminishing qualities that’s in addition to its fire rating. These new fire and sound rated products come in 3”, 4”, 5” and 6” apertures. A wide assortment of trim finishes are available, complementing the Elco standard in trim finishes that are sure to compliment any decor. Available in 4 different base types for medium base, Dedicated LED, GU10 and GU24 options to match your lamp type.
Flames and decibels are simply no match for Elco’s “FireProof” brand of products. Also please note that this combination of fire/sound rated products is quickly becoming the standard with local inspectors for any ceiling penetrations or holes between floors in multi-story residential or commercial dwellings.
