Live Webinar Lutron – WELL Designed Lighting Controls CEU

April 29, 2020 @ 12:00 pm - 1:00 pm PDT

Description: Organizations spend approximately $3/ft2/year for energy, $30 for rent, and $300 for personnel. Since people are an organization’s most valuable asset, improving their overall experience delivers the greatest return on investment. Lighting and controls improve the built environment by not only saving energy but also improving the comfort, well-being, and productivity of people. The WELL Building Standard understands the importance of lighting and controls toward improving the built-environment for people. This session reviews the WELL Building Standard v1 and shows how proper lighting, daylighting, and controls contribute to WELL certification.

Learning Objective 1: After analyzing the Light Features 53-63 of the WELL Building Standard v1, you will be able to describe the requirements to meet each of the features.

Learning Objective 2: Through examination of a real-world WELL Platinum Certified project, you will be able to describe how the project achieved most of the Light Features in the WELL Building Standard v1 Light Concept Area.

Learning Objective 3: By reviewing the WELL Building Standard v1, you will be able to explain its purpose and structure.

Learning Objective 4: By comparing the LEED v4 and WELL Building Standard v1, you will be able to identify key lighting-related overlaps among the two building rating systems.
