Show Me the Data: How Are Tunable Lighting Actually Being Used in the Field?

What can be learned today from the data provided by tunable lighting systems? This webinar reviews key findings from studies that reveal what is actually happening in the field, and how that information can be used to provide feedback to lighting designers, optimize system performance for building occupants, and improve manufacturers’ understanding of their lighting systems in realistic environments.

Webinar participants are eligible for one (1) IES Continuing Education Unit (CEU).

PRESENTERS:
Andrea Wilkerson and Sarah Safranek, Pacific Northwest National Laboratory

Andrea Wilkerson is a senior lighting research engineer at PNNL, focusing on the evaluation of emerging lighting technology in support of the U.S. Department of Energy Solid-State Lighting program. Andrea serves on the IES Educational Facilities, Libraries and Offices Committee, the International Association of Lighting Designers Education Trust Board of Directors, and the National Council on Qualifications for the Lighting Professions Exam Committee.

Sarah Safranek is a lighting research engineer at PNNL. Her current research involves conducting lighting simulations and field evaluations of advanced lighting systems in support of the U.S. Department of Energy Solid-State Lighting program.
