Fulham’s Programmable LED Drivers and Emergency LED Driver Combo Units have proven invaluable during supply shortages, serving as substitutes for often hard-to-source dedicated items by others. With an identical interest in providing innovative and best-in-class power supplies for use in essential Germicidal UV lighting fixtures, Fulham has begun building out a full line of Programmable SunHorse Germicidal UV ballasts. The latest is new model SHS4P-UNV-C, which is a 100-277V Universal Voltage ballast that’s cULus, CE, as well as PSE listed (for use in Japan). This new model has max ballast wattage of 95W/112W with corresponding output range of between 340-840mA (800mA factory default setting).
Beyond the convenience, versatility, and ease of ordering (through SKU reduction) that new SunHorse Programmable ballasts provide, these SHS4P Germicidal UV ballasts offer numerous innovative features that can assist customers to enhance and differentiate their offerings. For instance, in conjunction with a newly introduced SunHorse Display unit, the SHS4P offers multiple ballast monitoring and control, stores/displays data about lamp part numbers/manufacturers, and offers lamp failure and lamp end-of-life notifications. Other attributes include audible buzzer alarms/notifications, NO/NC relay, and future-proofing in its design (I2C RJ12 Port Connection for future I2C communication or addition of sensors/accessories). It even has a Remote Port Connection that turns the Output ON/OFF without removing input power to the ballast.
