COSTA MESA, CA– More than 250 Southern California lighting professionals came together for Western Lighting & Energy Control’s first annual Lighting & Controls Expo. The event was held on March 14th at Lutron’s Experience Center in Irvine.
The festivities included training classes on several Lutron products including entry level residential home control product Caseta Wireless and Lutron’s revolutionary, modular wireless lighting control solution for new and existing commercial buildings, Vive. For those seeking continuing education units, topics included Title 24 and Lutron’s automated shading solutions.
Additionally, the Lighting & Controls Expo featured trade show booths showcasing several lighting manufacturers to include: Holm, Rouge Lighing, Duray Lighitng, Liteline, Cree, Aero Pure, Xeleum, CSL, Translent Protection Design, Lutron, Aion LED, Liberty Wire & Cable, PMC Lighting, Lightalarms, Sonos.
Products showcased in the Expo offered product solutions for indoor and outdoor applications for both residential and commercial.
“We were blown away with the response from this event in Orange County.” Said Western’s Principal Jimm Reifsnyder. “We already have plans to repeat this event in Los Angeles, San Diego and Riverside Counties, which are all part of the Southern California region we service.”
