EL MONTE, CA – Los Angeles Lighting Manufacturing Company hosted a training session for two Graybar locations, Anaheim and Diamond Bar. The classes explain the fundamentals of fluorescent/LED lighting to like-minded energy efficient partners. The course breaks down the different types of luminaires LA Lighting manufactures, including custom design fixtures for the one-off projects, as well as a full line of retrofit solutions. Along with the training, the employees from Graybar were provided a full factory tour of the facility, allowing them the chance to see the lighting manufacturing process.
In addition, the training session also included an explanation of the different types of control systems LA Lighting is able to include in the luminaires during the manufacturing process. As the lighting industry increases its demand for higher efficiency and more control over the lighting system, LA Lighting is able to integrate these demands and controls on many of the luminaires offered.
During the factory tour, the employees from Graybar were able to meet the Inside Sales team, Engineering team, as well as employees on the factory floor to see what truly makes LA Lighting a real US Manufacturing Company. This unique session allowed the Graybar employees to interact with company employees outside a classroom environment, in a more relaxed setting. Guests were able to get hands-on experience and ask job specific questions.
