LYNN™ is proud to debut the TheNID™ with Reel (p/n FPP-TN-C3-SAB-NKHI3).
Now shipping, TheNID™ with Reel is a compact outdoor-rated enclosure designed to connect
and manage fiber optic cables.
“TheNID™ with Reel decreases deployment times and reduces installation costs by eliminating in-field splicing,” explained Charles Hoskins, V.P. of Product Development. “Each unit features an rugged plastic enclosure pre-loaded with 50, 100, or 150 feet of pre-terminated fiber on a spool. Simply install the enclosure, unspool the fiber to your demarcation location, and
connect to your broadband or network infrastructure.”
TheNID™ with Reel Fiber Entry Terminal (FET) is made of high-impact thermoplastic material and is preloaded with a rotating slack storage reel. The slack storage reel ships from the factory with outdoor-rated micro-armored simplex single mode pushable fiber with a snap-on SC/APC bullet end. Additional features include: Support for flat or round cable entry; Reel locking with standard can wrench; Enclosure locking with standard can wrench; Water-tight sealing gasket; One inch conduit entries; Built-in electrical copper ground lug.
“We designed TheNID™ line to simplify outdoor fiber optic cabling and cable
management,” continued Hoskins. “TheNID™ with Reel continues that mission by combining
the enclosure and cable into a single SKU and eliminating the need to terminate in-the-field.
LYNN is dedicated to saving installers time and money.”
