MaxLite proudly announces the availability of Buy American Act (BAA) compliant LED T8 tubes to support government, military, education and healthcare facilities in their lighting upgrades.
Ready for immediate shipment, the UL Type A (ballast compatible) and Type B (ballast bypass) tubes are available through a recent expansion of production and assembly capabilities at MaxLite’s Anaheim, California facility. MaxLite will offer BAA compliant UL Type C products (tubes and drivers) later this year.
MaxLite BAA compliant T8 tubes are the simple way to upgrade existing fluorescent linear fixtures to the energy-saving benefits of LED. The lamps reduce energy consumption by more than 50 percent and deliver 50,000 hours of lumen maintenance, resulting in significant long-term operational and maintenance cost savings for facilities of all sizes. MaxLite stands behind its BAA compliant LED tubes with a five-year limited warranty.
In addition to T8 tubes, MaxLite offers a broad range of LED luminaires compliant with the Trade Agreements Act (TAA), including the MPulse™ architectural outdoor range, and the premium indoor industrial HL and HP series high bay fixtures.
“We are excited to expand our product portfolio to meet the growing demand for quality, high-performance lighting solutions that comply with BAA and TAA requirements,” said President and CEO Yon Sung. “We will continue to increase MaxLite’s production capacity and inventory to support our customers’ projects with compliant products, and grow our position as a market leader in BAA/TAA solutions.”
