All Fixture Rings with Round Openings: Now Dual-Direction Mounting
Orbit Industries is excited to announce that all of its Fixture Rings with Round Openings
are now Dual-Direction mounting!
Featuring four mounting tabs (versus the two-tab industry standard), installers can now
mount 3O and 4O-compatible fixtures in any orientation. Installers can mount rings to boxes
with less planning… and less potential re-work!
Available in 27 different configurations, Orbit now boasts the most complete line of
Fixture Rings with Dual-Direction Mounting in the industry. There are rings to fit 4” octagon –
4” square – 4-11/16” square – and concrete junction boxes. Choose Flat thru 2” raised
configurations (5/8” – 1-1/4” for 540X Series); in either 3O (2-3/4″ O.C.) and/or 4O (3-1/2″
O.C.) openings.
UNIVERSAL 4” & 4-11/16” SQUARE TO 4” OCTAGON FIXTURE RINGS – An
exclusive product in this series is Orbit’s patented Square-to-Octagon Fixture Rings. The 540X
Series transitions any 4” or 4-11/16” square box into a 4” octagon (3-1/2″ O.C.) opening. In
other words, installers can use one Fixture Ring part number to fit both 4” and 4-11/16” boxes!
When paired with a 4-11/16” square, 2-1/8” deep box, the 540X Series offers greater box
fill volume than a 4O box of the same depth. This makes it much easier to meet NEC box fill
requirements. These 16-gauge steel rings are available in four trade sizes – 5/8”, 3/4”, 1”, and 1-
1/4” raised.
All Orbit Fixture Rings with Round Openings feature mounting tabs with #8-32 threads.
Ideal for mounting light fixtures, exit signs, motion & occupancy sensors, LED drivers, and other
3O or 4O-compatible devices.
