Topaz Lighting and Electrical introduces a new “Plug & Play” replacement for T5/HO fluorescent lamps. This new LED Linear Retrofit T5 can be easily installed without any additional wiring.
Michael Neary, Topaz Lighting Product Manager, reports that the new Direct Fit LED T5’s are a simple replacement solution. “Available in 2-foot and 4-foot lengths, our Retrofit Frosted T5 lamps feature an internal driver and are compatible with most program start T5/HO ballasts. Their improved efficiency makes them ideal for commercial and industrial overhead lighting.”
Neary adds, “With shatterproof PET coating, these lamps ensure occupant safety and are recommended for use in classrooms, offices, conference rooms and hallways. These T5’s are available in pleasing, correlated color temperatures of 3500K (neutral), 4000K (cool), and 5000K (daylight) and provide seamless, end-to-end illumination.” DLC Qualified, offering significant energy savings over traditional fluorescents give them a life rating of 50,000 hours, reducing maintenance costs.
