MARKHAM, ON, Canada – Concrete Construction announced the winners of the 2019 Most Innovative Products (MIP) Awards. Lind Equipment’s Beacon LED Tower won the Industry Choice Award for ‘General Construction Tools & Equipment’. The Beacon LED Tower offers the lighting power expected from traditional 4 x 1000W metal halide light towers, in an unexpected package. Compact, lightweight, and truly man-portable, the tower can be transported in the back of a pick-up truck with ease. The MIP Award marks the Beacon LED Tower’s third win since its debut in late 2017.
Concrete Construction holds the annual MIP Award for numerous categories. Nominees are decided based on innovative features, ground-breaking technological advancements and value in the industry. The top nominees for the ‘General Construction Tools & Equipment’ award was narrowed down to only 7 of the most innovative global products.
The category is judged by three groups, the experts, the editors, and the industry. Attendees of the World of Concrete show voted for the product they deemed most innovative. The Beacon LED Tower, engineered by a lighting company and designed to fix all the issues with traditional metal-halide towers, stole the show and won the title.
