Espen Technology announced the expansion of its LED center-basket troffer retrofit kits, with field-adjustable output. New 1’x4’ models have been launched, in addition to the existing 2’x2’ and 2’x4’ models.
Espen’s center-basket retrofit kits have compelling advantages over installing new fixtures, including: Lower labor cost to install versus new fixtures; Faster and easier installation; Gives a new fixture look without disturbing the ceiling.
The field-adjustable output allows easy selection between three lumen packages, with just the flip of a switch. The new 1×4 allows selection among 2000, 2375, and 2750 lumens. The 2×2 outputs are 2000, 2350, and 2750 lumens. And the 2×4 output options are 3625, 4000, and 4500 lumens. Each kit size is offered in 3500K, 4000K, and 5000K CCTs. The very high efficiency of these troffer retrofit kits has earned them DLC Premium listing, which can qualify them for higher utility rebates in many parts of the U.S.
