DALLAS, TX – City Electric Supply’s CES Cares program is excited to announce its partnership with the international software Benevity. The software is a global leader in corporate responsibility through online giving, volunteer matching and community investment. With Benevity, employees will be able to go online, give time to causes they are passionate about and help CES provide a positive impact to their local communities and to other communities around the world. The Benevity program became available for all CES employees starting December 3, on National Giving Day.
“Benevity has allowed us to create a CES Cares website,” CES Cares Social Impact Manager, Karen Gray said. “You log in using your employee account, have featured content available to you and can search by cause or area for engagement or giving opportunities. It also allows employees to track volunteer hours for our Dollar for Dollar program.”
CES Cares is the social impact program of City Electric Supply, created to serve as the arm for all the philanthropic, charitable and volunteer efforts in which CES employees participate. CES Cares is partnered with UNICEF, The Red Cross and Carry the Load. The program is also dedicated to giving back to the North Texas community – where CES is headquartered. It has donated 3,000 backpacks to the Dallas Children’s Advocacy Center for the back-to-school program and has partnered with Children’s Medical Center, Dallas Children’s Advocacy Center and the Bridge Homeless Shelter. Since its launch in 2016, CES Cares has made $1.1 Million in charitable donations.
