COMMERCE, CA – DECO Lighting has been ranked NO. 38 on Los Angeles Business Journal’s list of 100 Fastest Growing Private Companies for 2017. LABJ hosted its 21st annual Fastest Growing Private Companies Awards, recognizing CEOs and executives of those private companies that are exhibiting the highest revenue growth in the Los Angeles area. DECO Lighting’s Director of Engineering, Michael Bailey, and Public Relations Coordinator, Anthony Augusto, attended the Awards ceremony, which took place on November 7th at City Club in Downtown Los Angeles, where the final rankings were revealed.

“The trend for past generations has been to outsource manufacturing outside of America, but our mission at DECO Lighting is to bring it back. Lighting isn’t seen as an exciting industry, but when you value your team as much as we do at DECO, you want to create a fun and exciting environment to work in. We are privileged and humbled to be recognized, once again, by a prestigious publication like the Los Angeles Business Journal.  I believe every industry has its leader; the automotive industry has Tesla, for computers it was Steve Jobs, for space exploration it’s now SpaceX. We hope to one day join those ranks representing the lighting industry,” says Sam Sinai, Co-Founder and CEO of DECO Lighting.

With an astounding three-year growth of 387%, DECO Lighting plans to expand their reach in the world of wireless connectivity going into 2018. Their current focus is on marrying innovative lighting solutions with the Internet of Things (IoT) in solid-state lighting to provide added value to the world of intelligent lighting controls. Developing cutting-edge, energy-efficient lighting technologies for the commercial, industrial, and architectural markets enables DECO to deliver lighting products optimal for any application.

“To be recognized as honorees by the distinguished Los Angeles Business Journal is an honor for our entire team here at DECO Lighting. We have big plans to overhaul our digital lighting platforms with Power over Ethernet (PoE) and Bluetooth mesh capabilities. In addition to our plans to take on the world of secure wireless connectivity, with technologies such as DecoTune™, we plan to deliver human-centric lighting capabilities optimal for use in schools and hospitals,” says Ben Pouladian, Co-Founder and President of DECO Lighting.

DECO Lighting continues to make pioneering moves in solid-state lighting (SSL). Driven by the increased demand for wireless connectivity of SSL products, they are leveraging Bluetooth mesh software to magnify their presence in the Internet of Things. With growing technologies such as Power-over-Ethernet connectivity, the ability to transmit data at significant distances creates endless possibilities and opportunities for DECO Lighting.
