eos Light, a Los Angeles-based provider of beautiful, energy-efficient, quickly-installed, space-saving LED lighting solutions, is pleased to announce its latest product series called LightPaper. eos Lightaper LED sheets are thin, lightweight, flexible, and field-cuttable. Their versatility makes them perfect for backlighting curved surfaces, walls, ceilings, columns and virtually any acrylic, stone or textured material that may require very low setback between the illuminated surface and the light source itself.
eos LightPaper is currently available in an ample series of damp-location-rated, 24V varieties. Dedicated white LightPaper is available in 2700K, 3000K, 4000K and 6000K for setback as low as 1.5”. Tunable white is offered across that same Kelvin range, to reflect circadian rhythms. RGB plus dedicated white can also be ordered, and eos is exceedingly proud of its “All in 1” LightPaper – an industry first – which is RGB plus tunable white from 2700K – 6000K. All color options are fully dimmable (0-10V, TRIAC or DMX/DALI).
Static white LightPaper has incredibly high CRI of 95 or more, whereas the RGB varieties also clock in at an impressive 80+. Lumens per watt are also very high. For instance, Basic white LightPaper casts over 1100 Lumens per Square Foot.
The beauty of a premium product like LightPaper, however, truly rests in its field cuttability and light weight. If installers encounter unforeseen circumstances, such as slight curvature to an install area, or sprinkler heads and elevator plates that were not accounted for at the time of the materials order, this can be addressed on the spot without reliance on factory customizations and with no delays. If factory customization is desired at the time of initial order, eos offers a Tiling Service, as well. LightPaper’s feather weight makes it quick and easy to install will a skeleton crew, too. It’s backed with 3M industrial adhesive or can be nailed or stapled in place.
