CHICAGO, IL –Chicago based luminaires manufacturer Focal Point will feature a variety of new and established products (booth 3248) at the National Electrical Contractors Association’s NECA Show, September 15-17 at the Mandalay Bay Convention Center in Las Vegas.
“The NECA Show is an important event for us. Electrical contractors have played a vital role in our success and the products we are bringing to this show reflect our commitment to them,” said Mike Thornton, Chief Marketing Officer for Focal Point.
“Our products and services are designed to meet the needs of contractors in the intensely competitive commercial market. A dedicated section of our website – the Contractor Zone – makes it easy to find everything they need, from installation instructions and videos to contractor luminaire packages and easy access to our field service team. Our Quickship program allows them to meet short project schedules with a vast selection of luminaires that ship within a 5- to 10-day window. Also, our Connected Solutions program offers a broad range of connected luminaires that give contractors greater latitude to choose from.”
Connected Solutions is a multi-partner program that features smart luminaires which are ready to integrate with preeminent, whole building lighting control solutions to meet energy code or green building certification requirements. Utilizing both wired and wireless networks, they allow for individual control, occupancy sensing, and daylight harvesting to optimize lighting and temperature for the ultimate in comfort and energy efficiency.
Focal Point will showcase several products that specifically meet the needs of contractors, such as a new ID+ 4.5″ round and square Downlight. The new luminaire provides the latest in LED technology with increased performance and efficacy. As with most Focal Point products, it is easy to install and provides great flexibility. Contractors will like the universal housing that accommodates ceiling thicknesses from 0.5″ to 3.0″ and gives them the power to change trims in the field. Another popular aperture for commercial projects, the ID+ 3.5″ round and square Downlight, will also be on display.
Seem™ 1 Acoustic, part of Focal Point’s Acoustics Solutions program, will be represented with lit and unlit units. The flexible linear luminaire and baffle system is designed to increase comfort and well-being while meeting the design and budget needs of each project. The integrated lighting and sound management system leverages the powerful light engine of Seem 1 and controls sound, using eco-friendly, patent-pending AirCore technology to maximize sound absorption with a per unit Noise Reduction Coefficient (NRC) of 1.05.
Another popular product to be shown is Amica 2, an economical architectural troffer designed for shallow plenum applications. The low profile luminaire is known for its superior performance that meets the DesignLights Consortium® (DLC) Premium status, as well as its integration capabilities with building control systems.
Focal Point will also provide hands-on demonstrations of the Seem 1 and Seem 2 simplified joining, engineered to support the needs of contractors, as well as Seem 4-LP and the ID+ 3.5″ Downlight.
