NICOR Introduces the HBG LED Spec Grade High Bay

NICOR Incorporated announced the release of its specification grade high bay the HBG. Featuring up to 180 lumens per watt, this fixture is an industry leader in efficiency, and one of the first to meet DLC 5.1 requirements.

The HBG provides spec grade optimization paired with maximum efficiency. Its precision designed optics and variety of distributions and lumen outputs make it easy to fit in any application. Offering multiple wattage packages this high bay can deliver over 30,000 lumens with a consistent and even light distribution. CCT options are offered in 4000K and 5000K with color rendering levels at 70 and 80 CRI. The HBG boasts a TM-21 reported L70 life of over 122,000 hours and is compatible with 0-10V dimming.

The HBG is an excellent choice for new construction installations and comes with three optical systems to choose from: the aisle optic provides exceptional illumination for aisle warehouse applications with a rectangular luminous shape, the diffused lens easily snaps over the LED array and is available as an option installed at the factory or as an accessory for field installation, and for maximum efficiency you can also choose the “No Lens” option. When paired with NICOR’s PIR dimming sensor this fixture can help meet ASHRAE 90.1 compliance.

If a project involves a complex floor plan or requires a more detailed layout analysis, NICOR’s team of application engineers are ready to create detailed 3-D models, providing an in-depth look at how the HBG is the perfect fit for any spec grade job.
